History

Before the creation of Feuer Designs I owned a web site known as Evolution Designs. Evolution Designs was my first official anime/manga graphic site. I just got my hands on Photoshop and I wanted to make my own site after being inspired by the many graphics sites I came across. Of course, my skill then was nothing to brag about. In my opinion, the website was horrible. Everyone has to start somewhere though, right? After a year or two of owning Evolution Designs, I was tired of looking at the graphics I provided. I was inspired to start fresh and become more serious in the use of Photoshop.

Currently, Feuer-Designs is now hosted on my domain, Red-Head.org. My previous one (sakurazukamori.org), had expired. Being a minor and not owning a credit card, I was able to convince my dad to let me have a new domain. He luckily agreed because he knew how passionate I was with designing. I had some slight trouble in figuring out the new host when I first registered the domain, so I didn't get Red-Head.org or Feuer Designs up and running until a few months later.

The Name

Pretty simple, really. At the time when I was brainstorming names I was enrolled in a German language class. I was really into the language so I wanted to reflect that in my site name. Since fire is my favorite element, I simply translated it into German. Voila! Feuer Designs was born.
